Mission brief
In short
I am a frontend engineer with seven years of experience building and shipping large-scale web products — high-traffic live betting platforms, enterprise e-commerce storefronts and geospatial applications.
My specialisation is the modern React ecosystem: Next.js App Router, TypeScript, SSR and streaming, and the performance work that keeps all of it fast. I am comfortable owning a feature end to end — technical analysis, architecture, implementation, code review and production debugging — with enough Node.js, deployment and CI to be useful past the browser.
My background is unusual: I studied political science and taught myself to code. What stuck from that is a habit of asking who a system is actually for before arguing about how to build it. These days a good share of my week goes into reviewing other people’s work and running internal training, which I have come to enjoy as much as writing the code myself.
